Basharat has always experimented on the various possibilities of photographic imaging and can provide a unique service for clients who are looking for that something different.

Liquid Light

Inspired by the artists from the 1850’s who first developed the process of printing on metal plates, Basharat has fine-tuned a liquid light technique that creates one off images printed directly on to stones, wood, 3d objects, copper plates and more.

Liquid Light is a fascinating darkroom process that adds tones and texture that are not available with normal photographic paper.

This is a delicate method of printing, and results are never constant, but in these times when everything is so precise, instant and exact – It has that thrill of the unexpected.

Pinhole Photography

Using a zero image camera or simply a camera made out of a box of chocolates you can create surreal images from the simplest places.

Check the ‘Lookin Through Zero’ exhibition to see samples of this work.

Painting With Light:

Using only a torch and a location such as a darkened room, a cave or street at night, these ethereal images are all created in camera and not through digital manipulation.

Polaroid Transfers

Once upon a time we created images from Polaroid Transfers and lifts. However with the demise of Polaroid this craft is not going to be available for much longer.
