“Taxi through Pakistan’ is a documentary that explores different vignettes of every day Pakistan Life, a story that focuses not on the sensationalist views of the media but rather gives an insight into the everyday struggles of people trying to make the best against challenges that have a much wider effect than the violent extremism.
The documentary set out to discover the less sensational aspect of this country as a counter balance to what foreign media focuses on. The film wanted to reflect what was important to my characters and allow them space to talk about themes that were important to them.
